In the Valleys of Deep Isolation
The Hà Giang Loop is 300km long, with an elevation gain of 7200m, riding on the ‘quốc lộ’ - national highways, mostly on the QL4C or appropriately called the Road of Happiness.
The task looks simple on paper, three major climbs before the 140km mark with an elevation gain of 4000m all out of the way by midday, and the rest should be a breeze all the way back into town.
